Sarawak Pair Win Women's 10m Synchro Platform Gold at SUKMA 2026

Nur Eilisha Rania and Nurul Farisya Alia deliver gold for Sarawak in the Women's 10m Synchronised Platform, with Pahang missing silver by just 0.24 points.

SHAH ALAM, 19 August 2026 —

Sarawak's Nur Eilisha Rania Muhammad Abrar Raj and Nurul Farisya Alia Affendi claimed gold in the Women's Open 10m Synchronised Platform final at SUKMA XXII 2026, finishing with 259.74 points at Akuatik Selangor. The result was comfortable at the top, but the battle for silver was one of the closest of the competition — Perak edged Pahang by just 0.24 points.

Sarawak Clear at the Top

The Sarawak pair were the standout performers across all five dives, building a significant lead early and maintaining it to the finish. Their best dive — a 107B rated 3.0 — earned 63.00 points in the final round. They finished more than 43 points clear of the silver medallists, a dominant winning margin in a synchronised event.

Perak Edge Pahang in Thriller for Silver

Perak's Siti Nurul Jannah Malik and Trisya Ann Voon took silver with 216.18, holding off a strong challenge from Pahang's Noor Qaisara Dayana Saiful Nazam and Nur Aisy' Innara Mohd Amir Hafiz, who finished on 215.94. The 0.24-point margin was the narrowest of any podium position across both diving finals on the day.

Selangor Fourth

Selangor's Ayu Syuhaida Khairul and Uzlifatil Jannah Ashraf finished fourth with 211.98, just 3.96 points outside the medals. Pulau Pinang (203.85) and Sabah (195.24) rounded out the six-team field.
